* Do you know what the NS record is?
Suggested article from our blog: What is NS record?
As the name suggests, the NS record is all about the name servers. It has 2 main components, the hostname and the name server/s for it. You will need NS records for each DNS zone.
If, for some reason, you must change the hosting company, you will need to edit the NS records. You need to point them to the new name servers. The update could take up to 24 hours.
An NS record example that you can see and understand better!
Don’t forget that at each DNS zone (primary and secondary), you must include NS records and direct them to each DNS server.
